Classic cappuccino:
To froth milk, we recommend starting with 250 ml. Frothing creates a thick, voluminous foam, which may overflow if you use too much milk. The cup holds 700 ml when used simply to heat milk without frothing. When making milk foam, leave enough room for it to expand.
Heat the milk in the microwave using the cup only, without the lid or frothing mechanism. Then fit the lid with the frothing mechanism and pump by hand for a few seconds.
A tip from someone who uses it every day: "I use about 250 ml of milk and froth it for around ten seconds, until the foam is thick and creamy". Results may vary depending on the type of milk and its temperature.
Also froths cold milk and plant-based milks.
Designed as a manual milk frother, Mio Cappuccino allows you to prepare creamy foam to enjoy directly from the same mug or to pour into your favorite cup.
Unlike stovetop frothers, Mio Cappuccino helps prevent overheating delicate milks such as goat milk, allowing you to visually monitor the foam consistency after heating.
