Mio Cappuccino Recipe Book

Welcome to the world of Mio Cappuccino

Everything started with a simple idea.

Making a creamy cappuccino in the microwave.

From that idea came a practical, modern mug with a manual frothing system, designed to create creamy foam without any complications.

When I started giving it as a gift to friends and family, something unexpected happened.

They didn't use it only for cappuccino.

Soups, porridge, mug cakes...

Everyone found a different way to use it.

A friend of mine told me:

“It's amazing! I made a mug cake, it turned out perfectly and it didn't stick.”

Then my niece saw the orange one with the black lid and exclaimed:

“Fantastic! I'll make pumpkin soup with croutons in it for Halloween.”

Another idea came shortly afterwards:

“It's perfect for porridge.”

Then I watched my adult son, who would rather eat straight from the pan or heat up a frozen pizza just to avoid washing one extra dish.

That's when I realized something.

Mia Mug wasn't just a cappuccino mug.

It was a different way of cooking.

Why does it work so well?

Of course, all these recipes can also be prepared using traditional pots, pans, or other containers.

Mia Mug, however, simplifies everything.

  • You cook and eat in the same mug
  • You make very little mess
  • It is easy to clean
  • It retains heat without burning your hands
  • It is light yet durable

In the case of goat's milk, it also offers a particular advantage: it helps prevent the milk from burning, as goat's milk is much more sensitive to heat than cow's milk. It also allows you to check the consistency visually after taking it out of the microwave.

From an idea to a recipe book

From that moment on, I started experimenting.

Recipes found online, advice from friends, traditional dishes, and many small daily experiments.

Many, honestly, didn't work.

Others were delicious but too complicated.

So I kept trying, simplifying, and adapting everything, gradually collecting recipes designed for people who:

  • Have little time
  • Don't feel like cooking
  • Want to make as little mess as possible

I am neither a chef nor a nutritionist.

I simply collected practical ideas that helped me on my busiest, most tiring, or most chaotic days.

I hope they can be useful to you too.

This recipe book will continue to be updated with new recipes and new ways to use Mia Mug.

Before you begin

  • The indicated cooking times refer to microwaves with a power of 700–800 W.
  • Do not exceed 3 consecutive minutes for each cooking cycle.
  • Do not use the mug empty in the microwave.
  • Always check the temperature before consuming the preparation: the mug retains heat for a long time.
